Welcome! Thank you for taking this small but important step by wanting to get involved in Youth Ministry at St. Justin, Martyr Church.
This particular ministry focuses on the younger parishioners in our church community. There are countless activities and opportunities that you are invited to become a part of. Please take note and see what might interest you. There is definitely something for everyone!
At St. Justin, Martyr Parish, we participate in:
- The Dead Theologians’ Society (for high school students)
- Refiners’ Fire (for post-confirmation students)
- Youth Mass (every first and third Saturday of the month)
- “JustYouth” band
- World Youth Day
- C.L.I.M.B. program
- OCY Archdiocesan events
- Local community events
As Youth Minister at St. Justin’s, my vision is to provide a stable, comfortable place where students can come and let loose in the company of others, while developing and enriching their personal faith with others and our parish community. By making St. Justin, Martyr Parish a “beacon of hope” to young people in the Markham and Unionville area, we are living out that very Christian faith, given to us at the time of our baptism.
Whether you are in need of volunteer hours for school, looking to meet a new friend or wanting to be re-energized and empowered in your faith, know that the doors to our church are always open and that you are welcome.
Please know that my ministry is one of presence and service. If you have a question, idea or concern, please introduce yourself to me and bring it my attention.
See you in church! Until then.
Peace and Prayers,
Andrew Santos
Youth Minister
