QUEEN OF APOSTLES - MARRIAGE ENCOUNTER

Queen of Apostles is a Retreat and Renewal Centre under the direction of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate, Assumption Province.

These weekends are designed specifically for couples’ enrichment. The couples have the opportunity to examine their lives together; their strengths, weaknesses, attitudes and values. This is done openly and honestly in a Christ-like, heart to heart encounter with the person you have chosen as your spouse for the rest of your life.

What happens on an Encounter weekend? Animated by the team of two married couples and a priest, the program begins Friday evenings and ends Sunday afternoon. The format of the Encounter weekend involves sharing by the team followed by a private dialogue of the couple. The program involves a process, which can help deepen a couple’s appreciation of marriage through couple communication.
